Javier Pastor

University professor, graphic and industrial designer, Javier Pastor studied his Masters in Design and Design Management in the Domus Academy in Milan in 1996. Later he worked as designer and researcher in the Fujitsu Laboratory of Industrial Design, in Tokyo, and since the year 2000 he collaborates with the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia as professor in the Drawing Department.

He has developed projects in diverse sectors: furniture, lighting, product, graphic design and communication. As researcher of the IGD (Research and Management Design Group of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia), he works in consultancy and training projects regarding design management and product portfolios, collaborating with different companies and organizations.

He also collaborates internally with the design departments of companies managing product portfolios, elaborating communication strategies, and managing industrial and graphic design projects, as well as artistic management and aesthetics.

Ximo Roca

His professional career as industrial designer started in 1981, collaborating with different companies in the Spanish Mediterranean coast area up until 1989, when he decided to create the Ximo Roca Design Studio.

The trajectory of Ximo over the world encompasses also many years in the education sector. He has been a professor in the Design School of the Universidad Católica CEU San Pablo. He has also formed part of numerous design associations like the BEDA, ADP and ADCV.

His projects, both national and international, go from the industrial and graphic design to the architecture and interior design. Chairs, lamps, bathtubs, ceramic designs, textiles… Ximo Roca is undoubtedly an original and versatile designer. During his more than 30 years of work he has created many products which are nowadays widely extended in the market. He also collaborates with different companies and organizations in the role of consultant and coordinator in their design departments.
